Pokeweed Prints sells unique and original posters relating to herbal medicine and botany, all edited or designed by Laura Jean.

 

So far I have completed a Kitchen Medicinals Poster that's perfect for your pantry door, or kitchen wall. It covers all the common kitchen spices, their medicinal value, and how to prepare them in various ways. There are many more in the works, so please check back often!

Pokeweed also sells re-touched antique botanical prints that are in the public domain. I recommend getting these printed on archival heavyweight paper, they look great!

I have a collection of prints from Otto Wilhelm Thomé - "Flora von Deutschland (1885), which is continuously growing. I will select only the best illustrations for common cultivated and wild plants, as well as a few obscure ones. Select your favorite plants to display in a room, or choose ones with big showy blossoms to compliment a color scheme. These make perfect gifts for the gardeners in your lives who would cherish a beautiful print of their favorite plant, and would be flattered that you know which one is it!

I wish to keep my store simple and easy to navigate. This is why you won't find it flooded with every image on every possible product available. I find that annoying. However, if you have a request for a product you would like to see one of these prints on, just leave me a comment and I'd be happy to make it so. Also, if there is a botanical print that you would like re-touched and put on sale, don't hesitate to ask.
